Kylie Jayne is an artist working across a variety of forms including drawing and photography. Inspired by the world around her, Kylie Jayne’s practice explores conversations between internal and external landscapes. Ritualistic and meditative, Kylie Jayne is interested in the use of repetition and recurring symbols that explore notions of pattern, chaos, expansion and contraction. 

Kylie Jayne’s work is held in a number of private collections across Australia and she received the 2024 Abstract Encouragement Award from the Linden New Art Gallery. 

Kylie Jayne lives in Naarm (Melbourne) Australia, where she works in her studio, walks her dogs and enjoys the wetlands that surround her home. 

Roots

Kylie studied Fine Art at RMIT and has always worked with her hands within a variety of trades including somatic practice, floristry and cobblery. These inform her artistic practice and the way in which she engages with the world.
